Etches is the latest offering from Los Angeles-based composer Devin Sharno, and a showcase of the musician's ongoing journey of creative innovation, this time departing from his collaborative Sound Study series.
The new EP comprises two tracks, Etches I and Etches II, spanning 11 minutes of ambient and experimental drone compositions. The release explores enigmatic soundscapes, inviting into a realm of introspection and tranquility, in its own way offering a respite from the frenetic pace of modern existence. At the same time, the music bodies a nuanced expression of uncertainty, constructed by way of delicate yet imaginative creativity.
