Kim Gordon has revealed details about her upcoming second solo album, The Collective, scheduled for release on March 8th, 2024, through Matador. The lead single and opening track, BYE BYE, is also unveiled along with an accompanying music video featuring Kim's daughter, Coco Gordon Moore. Photographer Clara Balzary directed the video.
In keeping with Gordon's characteristic penchant for exploration, the song takes on an experimental electronic direction, showcasing a notably moody atmosphere. Gordon's detached vocal complements a lush production as well as the raw and gritty instrumental work, resulting in a memorable and instantly hard hitting number.
