Formidable New England extreme metal force, Escuela Grind, have unveiled their latest EP, DDEEAATHHMMEETTAALL, out through MNRK Heavy. Produced by Will Killingsworth, mixed by Kurt Ballou, and mastered by Nick Townsend, the EP introduces four new tracks, with the standout piece being Meat Magnet, featuring a very special appearance by Barney Greenway, the vocalist of Napalm Death.
The music video for Meat Magnet, helmed by director Michael Jari Davidson, is a gripping visual which matches the song's intensity. The song presents a vocal showdown between Greenway and Escuela Grind's vocalist Katerina Economou, interspersed with electrifying live footage which shows the band's intense live presence.
"Meat Magnet is a pretty crunchy sort of track, and I was able to really wrap my vocal cords around it," says Greenway. "Enthusiasm oozes out of the pores of Escuela Grind. How can you not get on board with that?"
