Swedish shoegaze outfit Boy With Apple returns with their latest track, GBG Hills. Despite a notable gap since their last releases, the band has been actively engaged in songwriting, touring, and putting together their debut album, Attachment, slated for release on March 15th, 2024, through Vårø.
The new single brings forward a dreamy and uplifting sound, characteristic of the band's usual melodic approach. At the same time, the song carries a rather weighty and contemplative theme, delving into subjects like mental health and solitude. The band once again brings forward a refined fusion of Scandinavian guitar driven indie pop and shoegaze, resulting in a pristine sound.
