Road Of Thousand Tears, nearly the title track and album closer of Bestial Mouths' excellent new full length, R.O.T.T. (inmyskin), is accompanied by a gritty and haunting new video, created by Katarina Sjostrand.
The song employs a distinctive bilingual approach, with lyrics in English and Spanish. Lynette Cerezo draws inspiration from her heritage and the historical event known as the Trail of Tears. A dark chapter in Native American history, the event involved the forced removal and displacement of approximately 60,000 individuals from the 'Five Civilized Tribes' between 1830 and 1850 by the United States government.
