Storm Franklin is a fresh musical collaboration formed by producer Ben Hillier, known for his work with Blur and Depeche Mode, and musician Juanita Stein (Howling Bells). They joined forces in the fall of 2021 at Hillier's Agricultural Audio Studios in Lewes. Their initial encounter took place the previous year when they collaborated on Juanita's very well received third solo album, Snapshot.
Their latest single, Einz Zwei Drei Martini, is part of their debut EP, The Fear EP, set to be released in September 2023. The accompanying music video was guerrilla-style filmed on the streets of Brighton during The Great Escape earlier this year. The track is an energetic guitar-driven garage rocker which carries a straightforward indie aesthetic, and features pretty strong production.
