Fotocrime is preparing to reveal their fourth full length, which will be their first release under Artoffact Records. Accelerated is set to be released on September 8th, 2023, and finds the band taking a bold leap forward from their notable dark post punk sound, venturing into a fresh and more daring direction.
The album features a diverse range of styles, including electronic-bent rock sounds, dreampop, eclectic indie pop, minimal synth punk, as well as Italo disco, and art rock.
Accelerated has songwriter, Ryan Patterson's sonorous vocal taking center stage and accentuating the affecting new compositions, going through themes of longing, love, loss, and redemption.
Accelerated is an electrifying electronic rock cut, accompanied by an atmospheric and very well made music video directed by Patterson. The video showcases the band's vibrant energy and presence, providing an idea of the dynamics of their live performances, and in its own original way it pays homage to some iconic videos of the underground, alternative rock past.
