Black metal up and coming act, Archierophant, have come a long way since their origins as a one-man project by Grimorte instrumentalist, Lewis Borthwick. The band has expanded to include new members Jack Thompson, Sami Tuohino, and Matt Harvey, and has recently been very consistent with their releases.
Scenes From A Mirador is Archierophant's second single featuring the three additional musicians, together with guest vocalist Annabelle Iratni, best known for her vocal work and orchestral contributions in bands like Cradle Of Filth, Veile and Devilment.
Scenes From A Mirador is a lengthy and majestic black metal maelstrom which naturally conveys feelings of urgency and apprehension, and it comes across as a perfectly expansive take on Archierophant's dark artistry.
Scenes From A Mirador is taken from the upcoming full band release, From The Fires, which is set to be released in early 2023. Seeb Levermann of Orden Ogan will master the new album as a whole at Greenman Studios in Germany.
