Italian post punk band, Leatherette, follow the release of So Long, the first single from their debut album Fiesta with new track, Sunbathing. Fiesta will be out on October 14th, 2022 via Bronson Recordings.
Sunbathing is a splendid and concise song about expectation. The song is inspired by the ideas of wishing for a higher standard of living and telling the world off when necessary. Between punk rock and shoegaze Sunbathing presents Leatherette' loud, rapid, and gritty aspects.
Leatherette comment on the new track: "Sunbathing was almost born as a joke, it came out of nowhere. We wanted to write a happy cheesy pop song and then completely destroy it from within."
