Lucid Express: Lime (Elliott Frazier) Remix

Lucid Express revisit the excellent EP they produced in 2015 under the moniker Thud, long before the acclaim of their eponymous debut album which came out on Kanine Records in 2021.

The release of the five-song EP, Floret, was followed by an unstable situation in the band's home of Hong Kong, and a very heavy political climate, and eventually the local music scene absorbed much of that negativity. Ultimately, Floret didn't receive all of the recognition it deserved.

The EP is being re-released under the Lucid Express banner, with a vinyl version expected for the first time, and packed with remix version from a bunch of the band's favorite artists, such as Elliott Frazier from Ringo Deathstarr, Orchin, For Tracy Hyde, The B.V.'s, and Max Bloom from Yuck.

Elliott Frazier's remix of Lime strengthens the grit and showcases the dreamlike aspects of Lucid Express in greater detail, sounding all warm, broad, and explosive.

Lucid Express have also announced their first US national tour, including a string of dates with their labelmates Blushing, and an inclusion at Levitation in Austin, Texas for a date with Cold Cave and Soft Kill.
