Echoes from the Underground is the first single ahead of the full length, Into the Wide, by shoegaze rockers, Catch The Breeze. The upcoming album set to be released in August 2022.
Former members of the defunct Yellowish and now as Catch the Breeze, Aage Kinch (vocals, guitar), Lars Madsen (bass), and Andreas Bundgaard (drums) have established themselves as leaders of the Nordic shoegaze and dreampop scene. The band's new album was recorded in Tapetown Studios, Aarhus and mixed by Christian Alex Petersen (Marching Church, Mew) at Grapehouse Studios, Copenhagen.
A melodious and exquisite number which fuses attributes from classic shoegaze and post rock, Echoes from the Underground bursts all passionate and booming, with the sweeping, swirling guitars in prominent role, while vocally the song rests its enchantment on Kinch's melancholic croon paired with the floating vocal of Camilla Florentz’s from ONBC.
