KUBINE is a solo project based in Yokohama, Japan, coming forth with an intriguing blend of industrial, EBM, and extreme metal, ultimately culminating in a rather intense and heavy total.
Clean and Bleed is the act's new standalone single, an unconventional listen with harsh noise and grindcore overtones which hints at industrial contemporaries like Street Sects, Author And Punisher, Pharmakon and the like.
The new track comes after KUBINE's debut, "THE OTHERS" EP, from 2021, which established the project's atypical sound with a more intense electronic bent.
"This song is about the pain of living as a woman," the artist says of the song's concept. "I repeatedly shout 'We should be clean and bleed' in the chorus."
