After 23 years together as a band, Sweden's Bolywool are experienced and comfortable enough to adjust their ways of creating new music. The physical distance between cousins Calle Thoor and Oskar Karlström impacted their approach, but it definitely brought something new and imaginative to the front.
Dead Reckoning is the band's seventh album, expected out in March 2022 through VÅRØ. It is their first full length since 2019's Darkly After, the Longest Day, and it's sampled for the first time through the rather colorful and balmy new single, Bleíkur, which combines shoegaze blissfulness with radiant atmospherics. The song comes with an instrumental b-side, Lamb Holm, named after one of the Orkney Islands.
