Following their recent single alongside Lush's Miki Berenyi, Texan shoegazers, Blushing, reveal another strong specimen off their upcoming album, Possessions. Sour Punch, together with its accompanying video, is clearly demonstrative of the quartet's love for alternative nineties, in relation to both its sound and aesthetics.
A melodically bold and vivid number, Sour Punch is saturated in emotion, with its subject based on inequality and the pursuit for independence in a relationship.
Blushing rejoin forces with Elliott Frazier from Ringo Deathstarr on the production. Mark Gardener from Ride mastered the album at his OX4 Studios.
Possessions will be out on February 18th, 2022 through Kanine Records.
