Fresh heavy band, Arcem, is composed of Dave Mckie, Scott Kooima, Matthew Pressel and Babe Woodward, all of whom have been playing music in the greater Midwest area for over twenty years collectively.
Arcem emerge with their debut single Mountains of Ash and Riverbeds Infertile which is part of the quartet's upcoming debut full length.
An expansive, venturous piece with intricate fluctuation, Arcem's first track bases its dynamism on a post metal foundation, enriched with components from progressive rock, and more experimental ambient and drone qualities. The impressive track sees the rising band harnessing the benefits of monotony, and it flourishes by way of its dense arrangement, vicious vocals and glaring instrumental ardor.
