British at Zetra will be following their great recent EP, From Within, with another five-track release. From Without comes out January 21st, 2022 on Church Road Records, and it's introduced with a truly heavy first single.
The Raven's Game is themed on "justified fear and paranoia," and it amply slants toward the band's classic side and their affinity for traditional heavy metal, bringing to mind the monolithic properties of early Black Sabbath. Despite its perceptible classicality, the song goes through more contemporary shoegaze ways, combining heavy riffage and luring melody to bring about a distinct composite of alternative gothic metal darkness.
