Genre mixing trio, Plaisir, release their new EP, Foam, composed of seven tracks, including previous singles, Masło z Sola and Hunting Season. The EP works as a neat presentation of the band's musical versatility, ranging from shoegaze and post punk to more experimental and tough to define ways.
Tropical Trip inclines on the euphonic side of the band's artistic taste, appearing more wistful and emotive, and representing Plaisir's sound at the most dreampop it can get. In its four-minute extent the song builds to a steady elevation, making the whole endeavor a downright fulfilling one.
"Lyrics describe the lure of a beautiful place nobody can escape," Plaisir describe.
