Dazed is the new album by dark Belarusians Dlina Volny, out through Italians Do It Better. After the sonically and stylistically impressive singles which preceded the album, the band reveal a well crafted set of songs characterized by cohesion and elegance.
The band describe the new album: "This LP packs pain and euphoria, anxiety and passion, despair and hope. For us, releasing Dazed into the world also means releasing everything that fueled it, good and bad."
The album's eponymous opening number sees the band appearing approachable without having to relinquish any of the darkness which exemplifies their sound. Built on lush darkwave, synthpop and post punk elements, what Dlina Volny present is easily dazzling.
