Bonnuit is a post punk/darkwave act based in Victoria, BC. The band's dark and gritty sound draws parallels to archetypal post punk from the late seventies and mid nineties post-hardcore, with points of reference being the darkness of Joy Division and The Cure, the raw energy of Wipers, and the vitality of Unwound.
The band have just released their self-titled five-song EP through the fresh and trusty Off White House Records, examining the human condition through the punch of their far reaching, dark noise rock, exploring themes of fear, anxiety and hope. Highlight track, Give It The Night, comes with a video which corresponds to the trio's distorted musicality, created by Justis Krar.
Bonnuit are Viny (bass, vocals), Drue (guitar, vocals), and Nevada (drums, noise).
