DAEMONELIX is an international collaborative project including musicians from the US, Canada, Australia and Spain. The band's four-track EP, Devil's Corkscrew, engineered and mixed by bassist and rhythm guitarist Derek W. Phillips, and mastered by Maor Appelbaum (Candlemass, Armored Saint, Faith No More, Halford, Dream Theater), releases on October 15th, 2021 through Metal Assault Records.
Lead single Raise Crows is a paradigm of groove metal heaviness, implementing elements of doom, thrash, death and classic heavy metal into an exciting dark blend. Raw, brutal vocals and detailed instrumental grasp give rise to a crushing piece which finds brilliant use for its many constituents and mix of styles.
