Psychedelic shoegaze force, Echodrone, celebrate the release of their fresh album, Resurgence, with a new, very real and grounded video created akin to our times' confined methods, for the album's opening piece, Midnight Frost.
"The music video is a crowd-sourced effort," the band reveal. "We asked friends, family and fans to submit video content of how they reacted to Midnight Frost, the second single off our upcoming full length Resurgence. Maile Allen edited all the submissions into a music video. It was essentially a Covid/quarantine/zoom-type music video."
Opposed to the video's practicality, sonically Midnight Frost takes Echodrone to the dreamier and more spacey parts of their already expansive kind of dreampop.
The eight-song entirety of Resurgence is out now, laying out Echodrone's unrestrained creative mindset during time in quarantine.
