The Psychedelic Furs: Come All Ye Faithful

New wave greats, The Psychedelic Furs, returned after a very long hiatus with their first new full length in 29 years, and their comeback is very much strong. The band's new album, Made of Rain, was just released through Cooking Vinyl, and it has already originated a series of singles, the latest of which, Come All Ye Faithful, is a dark and caustic cut which comes with a creative colorless visual directed by Imogen Harrison.

Beyond the commercial success of their classic hit singles, The Psychedelic Furs have always been competent to engage on album level, and despite the long absence, Made of Rain proves that the band's mastery is not at all lost.

Instrumentally pristine, and with Richard Butler's delivery coming across as expressive as always, Come All Ye Faithful appears to be one of the moodiest pieces in the set of songs comprising Made of Rain, a work which seems downright organic, unforced and by all means long overdue.
