Rising act, DARK, continues to offer steadily strong cuts of gothic and darkwave eminence. Avoid Everyone concludes the project's first trilogy of single releases, and it's another imposing piece off the upcoming full length, Forever Suffer, expected later in 2020.
The new song takes a different path than the direct darkwave gloom of the previous two singles, and comes with a very strong industrial feel and an experimental point of view, suggesting that DARK's overall creative vision and the coming debut is far from commonality and stereotypes.
The song is themed on quarantine, the darkness and uncertainty of the times we're currently going through, and the feelings that derive from these circumstances. The artist explains: "It aims to express how one feels being for months isolated at home. Vulnerable to social anxiety, forced to self-entertainment while always hearing the superego echoes."
Avoid Everyone comes with a stark visual, consistent with the project's goth aesthetics, starring alternative model, Void Noir.
