Round Eye: Smokestack

Having recently sampled their brand new album with the mad fist single and video, Guess Who's Coming to Dinner?, the Shanghai-based Round Eye release the entirety of Culture Shock Treatment on Paper and Plastick Records, and reveal another visual, this time for the two-minute radical punk fierceness of Smokestack.

The new album is produced by Mike Watt (Minutemen and mixed by Bill Stevenson (Black Flag, Descendents,ALL). Smokestack is another sax-laden, gritty punk tune whose furious focus is centered at the band's home, but its message could extend to many other places in the world. The song talks about "red Hong Kong invasion," street riots and commies, and its noisy radicalism couldn't have been any more punctual.
