French Alps Tiger: Floor Is Lava

After last year's impressive debut single, Tell A Lie, British indie rock quartet, French Alps Tiger, return with a dynamic follow up which further determines their well mingled blend of surf rock and post punk as something rather rosy and snappy.

The two and a half-minute frankness of Floor Is Lava is glowing with energy, as the song's overall upbeat character consonantly links to the band's drive and zestful execution. It's more than a proper sophomore single release, while the South Wales group keep cutting a dash with their own kind of Wavves-meets-Pixies type of guitar driven indie rock.

"A tune for the kids whose parents didn’t give a fuck and let them smack up on candy and fizz and walk the streets being c*nts,” the band quite pictorially describe the song.

French Alps Tiger will be supporting Kaiser Chiefs at Dingwalls in Camden on April 18th, 2020. Floor Is Lava will be physically out on a super limited  floppy disk release next month.
