The Golden Age of TV: Caught in Doors

Leeds art rockers, The Golden Age of TV, emerge with a manically guitar-driven and very much lively new single which also introduces the quintet's upcoming self titled debut EP.

Caught In Doors is a superbly sharp, lyrically intriguing and emotionally intense cut, produced at Greenmount studios by Lee Smith and Jamie Lockhart (Alex Clare, The Cribs, Submotion Orchestra, Pulled Apart By Horses), presenting the band at its brightest thus far.

"Caught In Doors is the feeling of being stuck in one place, struggling to move," vocalist Bea Fletcher explains. "Financially, socially, in a career - whatever it is, it's about the need to switch up your routine or change your image. In the chorus, seeing my hair 'collecting in piles' metaphors that build up of an itch for change."

The Golden Age of TV have performed at Reading and Leeds, Live at Leeds and Liverpool Sound City festivals, and have gained much traction through their early singles.
