This year's Woodland Gathering VI festival which happened last August in Fellfoot Woods, Ulverston, keeps on giving, and the impressive full live sets from great underground acts are piling up.
Manchester experimental project, Primitive Knot, brought his pitch dark mixture of industrial, power electronics, noise rock and doom on stage for a bleak and downright imposing twenty-minute set, captured by IMPATV and streaming for the first time in its entirety right below. Expect harsh electronics mixed with grabbing riffs and sludgy, vicious vocals, in an overall relentless compound that can't be pinned down that easily.
Primitive Knot has had a very productive 2019 thus far, having put out a series of releases, including his grim and certainly worth checking full length, Puritan.
