Following their seminal debut album, Holding Hands With Jamie, from 2015 which we recently selected among one of five leading-edge punk albums from the current decade, Irish band, Girl Band, will be coming forth with their new LP, The Talkies, out September 27th, 2019 via Rough Trade, produced by the group's bassist, Daniel Fox.
The forthcoming record is introduced by the intense first single, Shoulderblades, which comes with a clip directed and produced by Bob Gallagher, starring dancer Oona Doherty.
Girl Band are Dara Kiely (vocals), Daniel Fox (bass), Adam Faulkner (drum), and Alan Duggan (guitar). Four years after their very well received debut, the quartet's sophomore comes highly anticipated, and the first taste off it is evidently strong and cunning as expected.
