Pittsburgh post punk trio, Death Instinct, will be releasing their debut EP, The Offerings, on August 5th, 2019 through Play Alone Records. Its opening track and lead single, Secret Gardens, is an impressive harbinger of the imposing darkness the band conveys through their splendid fusion of darkwave, gothic rock and shoegaze elements, all slyly intermingled with the resolute post punk foundation of their sound.
True to the style's essence, the song introduces the first fully realized work of a band ready to take off, and appears like a classy and well put together dark standard, even from the first listen.
The EP's release show is scheduled for August 5th, 2019, at Get Hip Record Store in the band's hometown of Pittsburgh, PA, alongside Ritual Howls and Bring Her.
