Cult Leader's latest album from 2018, A Patient Man, was a grand and very ambitious genre mixing record which was received positively for its depth and splendid intricacy. Many months after its release the acclaimed LP still delivers, as its title track has just been paired to a harrowing video directed by Anthony Lucero.
A bleak, black and white visual evocative of the cult classic, Begotten, the new video is emblematic of both the extremity in Cult Leader's sound, and the very welcome, more avant garde and goth rock direction they took on their enchantingly adventurous latest full length.
