With the first pieces of music revealed off their upcoming album, Noctiluca, psych sludge metal trio, Helms Alee, showed their direction toward an exploratory progressive sound and song structure. Although the recently surfaced third single, Beat Up, does not lack the breadth of mind, it is the heaviest, grooviest and more metal-inclined of the three.
One of the most open-minded and forward thinking acts in heavy rock today, Helms Alee continue looking forward, as the anticipated next chapter in their already prolific path shows all the signs of a resolute and notable work of art.
Noctiluca releases on April 26th, 2019 via Sargent House. The band's schedule is filled with upcoming live dates alongside a couple of legends: with Melvins in early May and with Earth later and throughout June.
