The Harmaleighs: Sorry, I'm Busy

Steering away from the folk sound of their previous releases, Nashville indie duo, The Harmaleighs, will be releasing their new full-length album, She Won’t Make Sense, on August 2nd, 2019, introduced with the very tuneful and very uneasy, Sorry, I'm Busy. The fresh track presents the band's new direction toward a nervy, guitar-driven, straightforward indie rock and garage pop sound, which seems to be working really well for their dynamics.

Sorry, I'm Busy elaborates on the serious concept of paralyzing social anxiety, preparing the ground for a full length founded on themes of mental illness, particularly lead vocalist and guitarist Haley Grant's profound, personal journey through anxiety, depression and mania. Highly energetic, more electrifying and richer than ever, the song delineates those feelings with precision, while remaining brisk, harmonious and sweet on the ears for its three-minute, tight entirety.

The Harmaleighs consist of Haley Grant (lead vocals, guitar) and Kaylee Jasperson (bass, vocals).
