Walking Bicycles: Fat Cat

After five years of inactivity, Chicagoan post-punks, Walking Bicycles, are about to release their anticipated fifth album, Chooch, a follow up to 2014's acclaimed, To Him That Wills The Way. The forthcoming LP was recorded at Steve Albini's Electrical Audio studio and will be coming out on April 26th, 2019 through the band's own imprint, Highwheel Records.

Fat Cat, our early introduction to Chooch and the album's opening track, sounds weighty, noisy and razor sharp, and ultimately inviting for its audience to come back and blast it again. Passages of noise rock, post punk and psychedelic rock make up a compellingly off-center listen, full of character, existential qualities and a nonconformist mindset.

Walking Bicycles are Jocelyn Summers (vocals), Julius Moriarty (guitar), Jason Leather (bass), and Deric Criss (drums).
