The ever-expansive and constantly fascinating dark world of Street Sects will reveal its next installment in its entirety on October 26th, 2018, when their anticipated new album, The Kicking Mule is set to drop via San Francisco-based label, The Flenser.
The third track to surface off the coming LP is album closer, The Drifter, a piece which works as a fine connection between 2016's brilliant End Position and its harsh darkness and The Kicking Mule's more direct, melodic approach. With their excellent compound of early industrial sounds and stirring post punk, and now bordering on something deeply experimental, yet, weirdly evocative of a more glam rock-inclined accessible style, Street Sects are ready to present another unique set of songs, and take their fervent act on the road.
The LP version of the album will include a limited booklet containing a new short story written by Street Sects’ Leo Ashline, with cover art by Huseyin Ozkan.
