Being very active over the course of one year, and having released a series of noticeable singles, laying out their multifaceted sound piece after piece, Sweden's Makeout Point are almost ready with the release of their debut EP, off which In Memories drops as the very promising first taste.
Colorful and very energetic, the new song once more showcases the band's versatile stylistic inclinations towards sounds and influences as elegant as shoegaze, dreampop and good old regular guitar-driven indie rock. In Memories is a brief and direct cut which in under three exhilarating minutes manages to juxtapose a more sentimental facet of the band's artistry with their standard powerful and explosiveness.
