We hadn't heard from Salt lake City's extreme metal up and comers, Cult Leader, since the band's utterly forceful sole full length so far, Lightless Walk, one of the most promising releases of a breakthrough act in 2015.
The band is now following that album with their sophomore LP, A Patient Man, which will be released November 9th, 2018 on Deathwish Inc., recorded and engineered by Kurt Ballou at God City Studios.
Lead single, I Am Healed, proves that it was worth the wait, and brings on the heaviness, as impressively as the band used to do when it first emerged. More sharply detailed and more matured than ever, Cult Leader do not need more than a single, but very loud listen to disarm and win the listener over.
