The Ninth Wave: Swallow Me

After their well received and pretty impressive debut EP, Reformation, from last year, Glasgow four-piece, The Ninth Wave, have unveiled a new single from their upcoming EP, Never Crave Attention, scheduled for release on April 20th, 2018 on Distiller Records.

About the new song the band states: "Swallow Me is about being used and is based around an observation of a dysfunctional relationship and the damage caused. For the victim, the realization of the situation they are in is hard to swallow."

Drenched in darkness and carrying the band's signature post punk grit and reminiscent of the eighties romantic glam, Swallow Me emerges as one of the most effective tracks The Ninth Wave has put out this far. The rising dark stars keep up their digging into the darkest corners of the human mind, and once again come up with something that sounds familiar while wholly original.
