German post-punk hopefuls, Lea Porcelain, will be following their well received debut album, Hymns To The Night, from last year with a new EP. Their new set of songs will be out this April, and Gotta Run is our introduction to it.
The single is accompanied by a well put together, great looking music video, directed by the band, which they describe: "The video shows a priest who visibly struggles with himself and with the life that he has chosen, in search of something that he enjoys, in the dreary everyday life. And when he searches for truth, he starts to dance. And he feels he sacrifices himself for something he now doubts, whether it exists, in which he tries to feel himself again and to exist himself."
About the song itself, the duo reveals: "This has been one of our favourite tracks to play live. The song is an energetic fusion that holds the balance between light and shadow. It makes you feel simultaneously strong and reverent."
