Toronto shoegazers, Greenhouse, return soon after their fantastic self titled debut EP with a new single titled Vincent Van Slow, a traditionally oriented shoegaze cut which was recorded at Candle studio in Toronto by Josh Korody (Beliefs, Nailbiter).
The new single attempts to capture the atmospheric characteristics of the shoegaze outburst that happened in the UK in the early nineties, and its top acts such as My Bloody Valentine and Slowdive while incorporating more direct lyrical and structural elements, and also nod to more contemporary indie acts like Alex G and Real Estate.
Written by Quinn Fisher, the lyrics themselves refer to the struggle Vincent Van Gogh endured with his mental health throughout his life in art.
