Although we do not know much yet about this enigmatic four-piece band from the UK, we have to acknowledge that what we're hearing so far is very impressive.
The debut album by THiS, HOC EST, was recorded live, take for take, with no separation at Palm Studio in South Wales. The band wrote, produced and recorded the album completely independently and it is already available on heavyweight vinyl and CD from local record stores and online through their official website, HOCEST.uk.
A strong blend of alternative, post rock and more traditionally oriented hard rock, the first single, Scars, leaps out of the band's debut like a dazing - and also very welcome surprise.
