You Bred Raptors?: Smithereens

You Bred Raptors? is an experimental post rock band from Queens, NY, currently readying their forthcoming album, International Genetics, to be released on June 23rd.

Apart from the rich and atmospheric instrumentation of their compositions, another feature the band has stood out for so far is their engagement with the Music Under New York program for which they performed live shows in New York's major subway systems that connect the five boroughs. Those shows eventually became more than a thousand, including a tour of the US and Canada.

If that is not impressive enough, You Bred Raptors? have also been busy on other activities like a performance with Yoko Ono at her One Woman Show at the Museum of Modern Art, an official TED Talk performance, they became the house band for Adult Swim at Comic Con as well as the off-Broadway show Sleep No More, scored a film for Troma Pictures and have shared the stage with Spoon, The Protomen, acclaimed film composer, Bear McCreary and The Sex Pistols' Steve Jones among others.

As it looks and sounds like the band's reputation is about to soon enough blow up, YBR? have been sharing a couple of singles off their upcoming album, the latest of which streams right below...
