Sons Of The Descent: Situation In Your Head

Fans of nineties alternative rock should pay attention to this; especially read on those of you who fondly remember the finesse in acts like The Wendys, Foil, and Lowlife, all of which are bands in which Hugh Duggie and Ian White had been a part of.

Hugh and Ian are ex-Factory Records and ex-Mute artists who now go by the name Sons Of The Descent. After not having seen each other for twenty years, the two musicians reunited at a memorial gig for the Cas Rock venue in their hometown, Edinburgh, and decided to set their new project in motion. Sons Of The Descent cite as influences quite dissimilar sources like Beck, Wolfgang Press, Porno For Pyros, and even The Beta Band and Lemon Jelly.

Their debut album, Lazy Glamour, will be self-released on April 27th on CD and online and all of its songs were written, performed, and produced by Hugh Duggie and Ian White. The album was mastered by Reuben Taylor, for their own Brawsome Productions.
