Recorded at The Nave in Leeds and produced by Matt Peel (Eagulls, Autobahn, Pulled Apart By Horses), Inspiration is the debut single by Manchester psych three-piece W.H. Lung and it's an almost eight-minute psych krautrock-ing monster.
If you had heard Inspiration randomly without knowing anything about it, it would be hard to place it in time between the early seventies, when the best years of krautrock took place, and today. Owing to it's hypnotic flow, psychedelic nature and minimalistic production, the track is a mighty impressive start for this enigmatic band about which we guess we're going to hear more in the near future.
Inspiration will be released on W.H. Lung's own label Hed Glo Inc. on November 25th.
