Self-described as "black metal for supermodels", Secret Admirer is the new project of Heinali and Matt Finney and Andrew Helsinski of Gilded Lily, that has recently put out a 2-song teaser for their upcoming album.
The 2-song release includes an original track, Billowing Perfume, as well as an odd cover of the Tears For Fears classic, Pale Shelter.
Both tracks' beautiful ambience is comprised of mesmerizing shoegaze guitars, droning electronics and spoken word parts, a quite fascinating soundscape, so hypnotic, haunting and alluring that after just seven and a half minutes will have you hooked and wanting more. It's minimal, nocturnal and remarkably dazzling at the same time.
