The Body & Thou: You, Whom I Have Always Hated

After their last year’s collaboration with Haxan Cloak, The Body this time team up for the second time around with a band closer to their own sound and aesthetics, Louisiana’s Thou.

Last year the two bands got together to release Released From Love, an excellent EP that wasn’t a split release, but a collaboration between the two doom/sludge/black metal bands. Thrill Jockey is now re-releasing that EP, together with a completely new work, You, Whom I Have Always Hated.
While Released From Love features a cover of Vic Chestnutt’s Coward, the new EP contains a captivating interpretation of Nine Inch Nails’ 90s classic, Terrible Lie.

The two bands plan to reunite in the latter half of 2015.
