Jonathan Athon, bassist of metal power trio Black Tusk from Savannah, Georgia, passed away due to injuries sustained from a motorcycle accident, when he and his girlfriend, riding a Harley Davidson crashed into a car that an 85-year-old Savannah man was driving.
He had been in a coma and sustained by life support until now, but as per his wishes he was removed from his life support systems. His organs will be donated. He was 32 years old.
The band has recently released Vulture’s Eye, a 2-song release and was working on a new album with producer Joel Grind.
