Melt Motif gained some well deserved attention with their debut album, A White Horse Will Take You Home in 2022, and continue in a similar path with their new full length, Particles. Death Objective.
The album is a natural progression for the band, with even more daring and realized compositions which showcase their fresh and invigorated musical ground. The lead single and opening track, Broken Floor, is accompanied by a highly creative music video that enhances the overall impact of the song.
The dark element is consistently present in Melt Motif's sound, and their dreamy and surreal sound can sometimes take on a nightmarish quality, while at other times it can be more grounded and realistic. Broken Floor is a prime example of the band's darker sound, and sets the tone for the rest of the album, which continues to readily explore this gloomy and surreal territory.
