Katras is a black metal duo from Kouvola, Finland, with its members having over ten years of experience playing and composing for various bands. In Summer 2021, Katras was founded in the midst of the pandemic. The band's debut EP has just been released, showcasing their immense dark flair and gloomy lyricism.
On the darkly sorrowful, Veren Tanssi, the EP's mesmerizing title track, Katras comment: "This particular song is about dancing on the edge of existence and finally loosing yourself into the all-consuming fire. There is something very human experience in it; melancholic and hopeless, a life that we all must endure."
