London-based noise rock punks, Muscle Vest, are preparing to release their new EP, HOT HOT HATE, on September 22nd, 2022, continuing to question the unjust system and sounding as radical as ever.
HOT HOT HATE was recorded live in one day at Hempstead Road Studios by Steph Carter (Gallows, Lyoness) and demonstrates the band's efforts to capture their outraged live sound on record. They comment: “As soon as Steph’s name was floated to us, out of all the options we knew that if anyone would get what we were trying to achieve right away, it would be him.”
Solitary Life is a hammering, robust post hardcore track with acute, existentialist lyrics and a raucous delivery which achieves the band's goal of conveying their raw emotion.
HOT HOT HATE was mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side Music (Mastodon, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Converge).
