In 2022 newcomers The Loud Bangs have released no less than four five-song EPs, exhibiting their experimental take on shoegaze, dreampop and psychedelia, and building a pretty solid early body of work which embodies their aesthetic vision and great promise.
The Jamie Situation is the closing number to the band's newest EP, The Alice Experience, and it's their only track in collaboration with K C Q.
The song leans on the stranger and more offbeat side of the sound of The Loud Bangs, with a lot of grittiness implemented, still, there's a strong sentiment of structure and cohesion in the band's beautiful and forward thinking explorations. While they continue to build an audience, The Loud Bangs come up with really worthwhile material.
